The data submission portal will be open from 8th September 2025 – 26th September 2025.

All data is to be provided for the 2025 fiscal year, i.e. 1st July 2024 – 30th June 2025.

Only provide data for the products that are supplied to McCain as specified in question 1.  The data is relevant only to the specific McCain countries and should not relate to your overall company procurement practices. If you supply multiple countries for McCain, then you must separately declare each country.  Likewise, if you supplied volumes that have different certifications associated to them, you need to add a new submission and split the volumes accordingly.

No information should be supplied for manufacturing sites or livestock that are not supplied to McCain. If you are not able to split out your feed or soy information between companies, contact 3Keel and they will be able to develop a solution with you.

If you have not supplied any of the products outlined in the scope in question 1 above, please declare to 3Keel via email to data.services@3keel.com why you are out of scope of this exercise. 3Keel will then confirm this directly with McCain.

You should only return one submission per business entity to us covering all your relevant sites and operations supplying McCain. If your business has multiple operation regions, please only report volumes supplied from the region listed in the portal under your log in name. Please reach out to data.services@3keel.com if you need any guidance. For example, if you have one entity in LATAM and one entity in Europe, you should submit one submission for each entity.

Recorded videos are available on the landing page of the platform. These will introduce the submission portal and provide an overview on how to complete your declaration.

3Keel is responsible for managing the collection, analysis, and reporting of this information to McCain. Please liaise with us for all questions regarding the type of data required. You can contact us using the following details: data.services@3keel.com, or to arrange a call with our team.

Direct animal proteins – such as beef, pork, chicken – and products that use such animals in their production – such as chicken pieces on a pizza – are all considered livestock products. “Livestock-based” products include these proteins and extend the categorisation to other products that come from livestock (e.g., milk and eggs).

Yes, please include all livestock-based products you supply to McCain, including:

  • whole animal protein livestock products (e.g., chicken breasts, steak, mince, eggs, cheese), as well as,
  • products containing animal protein ingredients (e.g., chicken on a pizza).

This, however, excludes meat/dairy/eggs that are embodied in other purchased compound food products (e.g., milk chocolate in a cookie). Minor ingredients (e.g., butter in pie crust in a dessert) should be discussed with 3Keel to determine whether or not they are in scope for the company you are reporting to.

Data ownership remains with McCain, 3Keel are data processors only. All data submitted through this data collection will remain confidential.
